Receptionist/Administrative Assistant – Wadena Office
Position Overview
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for current and prospective clients, both on the phone and in person. This individual plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression of the firm by ensuring calls and visitors are directed appropriately, and conference rooms are prepared for meetings. The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant should be friendly, punctual, trainable, and self-motivated.
Position Information
Work Arrangement: In-office.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (37.5 hours per week).
Hourly Wage: $19–$21 per hour.
Position Status: Permanent, full-time, non-supervisory.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and lift or move file boxes as needed

Essential Responsibilities
- Answer and transfer calls, document new client information, and complete conflict checks.
- Set up new client files, collect and prepare files for meetings, and transfer physical files when appropriate.
- Complete daily errands, process mail, and perform assignments provided by staff and attorneys.
- Process deliveries, receipts, deposits, and client payments.
- Greet and seat guests, prepare the office at the beginning of each day, and order supplies as needed.
- Complete additional assignments as required/assigned.
Qualifications

- Minimum two years of general office experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing needs.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
