Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Caswell County Jail in North Carolina. This part-time opportunity offers consistent every other weekend scheduling with 8-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, making it a great fit for nurses seeking flexibility while continuing to do meaningful work.
Correctional nursing is a unique specialty where no two shifts are the same. You’ll strengthen your assessment skills, work alongside experienced medical professionals, and provide essential healthcare services in a structured and supportive environment.

Deliver patient care within scope of practice

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Complete nursing assessments and documentation

Respond to medical concerns and sick call requests

Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members

Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility procedures

Provide compassionate, professional care in a correctional healthcare setting

Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN license
-
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Strong communication and clinical assessment skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail

Previous correctional nursing experience is helpful, but not required
