About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our dedicated team at The Cottages of Dartmouth Village, a senior living facility in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals for our residents. If you're passionate about cooking and committed to providing exceptional service, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner based on scheduled hours
Prepare all regular and special menu items for all meals that occur during your shifts
Prepare soup, sauces, salads, and desserts, according to established standards and recipes
Assist the food services team in preparation, presentation, and service of meals, and perform duties as required for the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department
Follow all health department practices, safety practices, and infection control practices
Perform other tasks as required by management to ensure the smooth operation of the community
Prepare food for special events as needed
Requirements
Must be ServSafe Certified
Must be Allergon Certified
Must be able to read and follow recipes
Must be able to follow dietary requirements of residents
Preferred Senior Living, Long Term Care, or similar type facility experience
Work Schedule
Set 7.5 hours per day schedule, Sunday to Saturday, 10:00 am and 6:00 pm
Every other weekend required, and holidays as needed
