We are at Zenisco Inc seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant/Project Coordinator to join our team. Duties
- Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards.
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, reports, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews to maintain financial integrity.
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar platforms for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Coordinate project-related financial activities including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable management, and expense tracking.
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation, conducting internal audits, and facilitating external audits as needed.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Experience
- Proven accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, accrual accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, report writing, interpretation of financial data, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience working with various accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or similar platforms; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel (VLOOKUP function, spreadsheets for data analysis).
- Background in corporate finance or public accounting environments is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
