Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong drafting and modeling skills, and understands how construction projects move from design through fabrication and installation.
This position plays a critical role in producing accurate shop drawings, fabrication details, and 3D models for architectural and structural metal projects.In this role, you will be instrumental in creating precise construction documentation, developing detailed drawings, and ensuring building code compliance across various projects. Your expertise in 3D modeling and drafting software will help translate conceptual designs into comprehensive construction-ready plans. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed fabrication and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Rhino
- Create accurate 2D and 3D models for custom metal fabrication projects
- Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications
- Develop material takeoffs
- Coordinate with project managers, fabricators, installers, architects, and contractors to resolve design and constructability issues
- Revise drawings based on field measurements, RFIs, and project changes
- Ensure drawings meet company standards, project specifications, and fabrication requirements
- Support projects from concept through production and installation
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional experience using AutoCAD and Rhino
- Experience detailing custom metal fabrication, architectural metals, structural steel, or similar construction-related products
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
- Understanding construction practices
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working on construction projects that require detailed system design, graphic presentation skills, or interior detailing is highly valued.
- Familiarity with construction processes and practical understanding of how detailed drawings translate into real-world builds is preferred.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
