Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Junior Program Analyst. The Junior Program Analyst (JPA) for the Infant and Toddler Child Care Support and Expansion Project will support the planning, implementation, administration, and evaluation of a multi-year early care and education facilities and resource navigation initiative. The JPA will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring project administration to ensure timely implementation and compliance with grant requirements and contractual obligations.
The JPA will establish and maintain systems to monitor contractor performance, track deliverables, review contractor compliance, request and compile status reports, process invoices, and maintain project documentation. The JPA will coordinate and facilitate virtual and in-person meetings with contractors, school districts, community partners, and other stakeholders by managing meeting logistics, preparing agendas and materials, documenting action items, and tracking follow-up activities.
The JPA will support the Staff Analyst in building and maintaining relationships with school districts and partner agencies by tracking facility planning and development milestones, monitoring project timelines, and assisting with coordination across participating organizations. The JPA will also oversee quality assurance for the Early Care and Education Resource Guide by ensuring information remains accurate, current, and relevant for providers. Additionally, the JPA will monitor contractor engagement with early care and education providers, track utilization of project resources, and support evaluation efforts by collecting and analyzing program data to assess implementation progress and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
The JPA will prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, and talking points for leadership to communicate project progress, contractor performance, key accomplishments, and recommendations for program modifications or improvements based on project evaluation findings.
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 12/31/26, with the good chance of extension.
Pay Rate: $42.08/hr working 40 hours a week
Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week in office, 2 days telework and 1 day anticipated in field for meetings.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control -AND- two years of experience performing assignments in mental health or public health program analysis. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in either public health administration, epidemiology, public health statistics, public health microbiology or communicable disease control may substitute for one year of the required experience.
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
