Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and experienced Standup Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team on all shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Forklift in a cold storage/freezer or DRY environment while accurately moving, storing, and retrieving products. Candidates must be comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures and maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Available Shifts
FREEZER POSITIONS
1st Shift: 6am-230pm $21.25
2nd Shift: 2pm-10pm $22.75
3rd Shift: 10pm-6am $23.25
DRY POSITIONS
3rd Shift: 10pm-6am $22
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a reach truck in a freezer warehouse environment.
- Pick, transport, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload materials while maintaining product integrity.
- Perform inventory movements and replenishment tasks.
- Accurately scan products using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Inspect equipment before and after each shift and report any issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous reach truck experience required (minimum 6 months to 1 year preferred).
- Experience working in a freezer, cold storage, or refrigerated warehouse preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience using RF scanners preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
Working Conditions
- Freezer environment with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 0°F.
- Employer may provide freezer gear/PPE.
- Fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
