Elite Tutoring Center, LLC is looking for a patient, self-motivated part-time math tutor to work with students in grades K-8 after school in a small group setting. Must have at least 2 years of teaching experience. Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or work towards a degree; college students are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
- Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, class assignments, research, and ability to multi-task
- Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions
- Developing and distributing teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides
- Thorough knowledge of Eureka Math and math concepts
- Punctuality is a must
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting
- Highly organized, structured, and timely
- Ability to set clear and measurable expectations with students, as well as establish a space where questions are encouraged
- Personalize lessons that aligns with their lessons taught in class
