Position Overview
Hooked on Freight Transportation LLC is seeking a motivated Logistics Assistant to support day-to-day transportation and operational activities. This role helps coordinate shipments, maintain logistics records, assist with scheduling, and support communication between warehouse and transportation teams.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in logistics and transportation operations. No professional experience is required training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shipment coordination and transportation scheduling
- Track deliveries and update shipment information in company systems
- Prepare and organize shipping documentation and operational records
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and operations staff
- Support inventory and freight processing activities
- Verify shipment details and help resolve basic discrepancies
- Maintain organized files, reports, and logistics paperwork
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day operational workflow
- Follow company procedures and workplace safety standards
- Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic computer and data entry experience
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Previous logistics, warehouse, or operations experience is a plus but not required
Pay: $22.20 - $23.00 per hour
