Responsibilities
AVAILABLE HOURS:
2:00PM - 8:00PM MONDAY - FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, SUNDAY 8:00AM - 8:00PM.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting as needed.
- Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures
- Provide specialized care for individual that is none verbal but mobile. Be direct but polite when redirecting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and light cleaning as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
- Document care activities accurately by using approved methods.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by applying first aid or CPR when needed and following established safety procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience in in-home care setting
- Knowledge of assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and team members
- Valid driver’s license for driving duties; clean driving record preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care in a compassionate manner
