Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Support opening or closing procedures including cash handling, inventory checks, and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong foundation in customer service and guest relations
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety regulations
- Prior experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
