Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting in various dental procedures, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, infection control protocols, and excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
This role is part time 2 days a week .
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Take and record vital signs to monitor patient health during visits.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, providing necessary support and instruments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when required.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements Dental Hygienist Part time
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures in a dental setting.
