Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and injection administration.
- Manage complex medical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, ventilator management, and tube feeding to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as emergency rooms, intensive care units (ICU), neonatal units (NICU), outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Provide triage services by assessing urgent needs and prioritizing care in emergency medicine or urgent care environments.
- Support infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
- Proven experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, critical care (ICU/Trauma Center), emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
- Experience with specialized nursing procedures such as dialysis support, cardiology (cardiac catheterization), neurocritical care (PICU), or trauma medicine is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical examinations, specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques confidently.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching, medication management, pain management strategies, and discharge planning.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Additional experience preferred in areas such as hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health, geriatrics—including memory care—and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
