Job Title: Bar Back

Plant'd Farma, a leading establishment in Omaha, NE, is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Bar Back. The Bar Back will provide essential support to our bartenders and ensure the smooth operation of our bar area. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to customers promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies, glassware, and utensils.
- Prepare garnishes, and ensure the availability of necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glasses, and utensils.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and requests.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels throughout the shift to avoid shortages.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and conducting regular stock checks.
- Collaborate with the bar team to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing techniques is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
