FULL TIME OPTICIAN
Looking for a full time optician who is hard working, trustworthy, and responsible for work at our family owned, private practice in Glendale. Candidate must have AT LEAST 5 YEARS experience as an optician, excellent customer service skills, is a team player, and pays close attention to detail. Pay is variable and dependent on experience. Our office has been in business over 25 years. Our patients expect exemplary service and high quality products as well as the newest technology in glasses. We strive to provide the best eye care as possible while maintaining a family like atmosphere with our longtime patients and staff.
Responsibilities include but not restricted to:
- frame and lens selection
- explaining the advancements in the latest optical technology/products
- optical measurements (pd, bifocal, progressive, prism)
- glasses adjustment and repair
- inventory management
- verifying lens accuracy when checking in jobs
- working with labs and vision care plans (we take VSP, Eyemed, Davis Vision, Spectera) to deliver quality eye wear to the patient
