- Perform advanced hair coloring techniques utilizing color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results.
- Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care treatments to enhance client satisfaction.
- Conduct consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable hair care products or retail items through effective upselling strategies.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools such as straight razors and implementing store-wide cleanliness protocols.
- Manage client communication professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk and during service delivery.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, retail sales tracking, and client record management.
- Mentor junior stylists by sharing expertise in cosmetology, barbering techniques including store management skills, and advanced services like hair threading and makeup application.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hair styling projects.
- Certified cosmetologist or barber with knowledge of sanitation practices and store management procedures.
- Skilled in hair coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care with a solid understanding of color theory.
- Proficient in using salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail operations; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and provide personalized recommendations.
- Knowledge of hair care products and retail sales techniques to enhance client experience and increase revenue through upselling.
- Ability to perform precise grooming services including straight razor shaves when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing front desk responsibilities and mentoring team members effectively.
