EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position focuses on leading our treatment teams that support patient recovery by providing comprehensive psychiatric care. Your work strengthens the quality of services provided within the hospital. As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will perform the following duties: Psychiatric Assessment: Conduct formal psychiatric evaluations and review diagnoses for all assigned patientsMedication Management: Review medications regularly and adjust treatment plans to ensure proper psychopharmacological careTeam Leadership: Lead the multidisciplinary treatment team, as well as direct the development and implementation of individual treatment plansCare Documentation: Complete all required documentation accurately and in accordance with hospital and departmental standardsCase Review: Present complex cases for consultation and participate in performance improvement activitiesFamily and Agency Contact: Maintain communication with families, patient advocates, and outside agencies as neededInterested in learning more?
