We’re hiring a Home Care Senior Care Manager to manage caregiver schedules, fill open cases, and oversee a caseload of clients and caregivers so every senior gets the right care at the right time.

Role Summary
The Senior Homecare Staffing/Care Manager ensures that all open positions for new and existing clients are filled. This occurs through effective staffing, scheduling and care management of client needs and requests.They will help identify the right employees to work with each client and will work to schedule, coordinate and aid in staffing and scheduling of Care To Stay Home caregivers.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee an assigned caseload of clients and caregivers, serving as the primary office contact for that group.
- Fill open caregiver shifts and cases for your caseload and support other care managers when needed.
- Build and maintain weekly caregiver schedules, minimizing open shifts, last-minute call-offs, and overtime.
- Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, preferences, and personality fit.
- Partner with caregivers to ensure accurate and timely timesheets, clock in/out, and care notes for payroll and billing.
- Update and maintain caregiver availability, assignments, and documentation in our scheduling and HRIS systems.
- Assist with maintaining employee credentials and compliance in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback to caregivers on your caseload to drive engagement and quality of care.
- Collaborate with the Staffing department and leadership to improve scheduling processes, tools, and workflows.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree needed (Business, HR, or related field)
- 7 years+ of professional experience in Staffing, Care Management or Human Resources; healthcare/home care a plus
- Prior experience managing or leading employees (Formal supervisor or informal team lead)
- Working knowledge of hiring and HR compliance; strong attention to detail and data accuracy; HIPAA awareness
- Proficient with ATS/HRIS and productivity tools (Google Workspace); typing 40+ WPM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and build trust with diverse candidates
- Organized, proactive, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
Skills That Help You Stand Out
- Experience staffing or scheduling for caregivers (CNA/HHA/Companionship/Personal Care) or home health / senior care roles.
- Background in a home care, home health, senior living, or healthcare staffing agency environment.
- Proven success reducing open shifts, call-offs, and scheduling gaps.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm, professional, and solutions-focused when schedules change quickly.
- Leadership qualities: high energy, diplomatic, performance-driven, and customer service oriented, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
