Schedule
- Full-time
- Hours typically between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Weekends mandatory
Pay - $18.00 per hour
What You'll Do
No two days are exactly alike, but your work will include:
- Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining floors throughout the facility
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and showers
- Emptying trash and replacing liners
- Cleaning the kitchen, dining areas, and common spaces
- Washing dishes, cups, and utensils
- Cleaning and monitoring the guest laundry area
- Preparing the overnight sleeping area for guests
- Sweeping patios and outdoor walkways
- Cleaning spills and responding to housekeeping needs throughout the day
- Dusting furniture, equipment, and fixtures
- Moving furniture and equipment as needed
- Reporting maintenance issues such as plumbing, lighting, or equipment problems
- Assisting with sorting donated items when needed
- Following all safety procedures and infection-control practices
- Treating every guest, volunteer, and coworker with kindness, professionalism, and respect
- Supporting other facility needs as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to exercise good judgment and solve routine problems independently
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
