Nirvana Kitchen & Wine Bar
We are a wine bar, wine shop and fresh scratch kitchen who has been in business for 18 years. We just moved to Hawthorn Row last year! We specialize in finding the best winemakers on the planet, family owned wineries and small production wine. Our menu is chef-driven and inspired by cuisine from all around the world. We focus on fresh food that is fully prepared in-house from scratch. Nirvana is one of the few restaurants in Vernon Hills that is privately owned. We are seeking an assistant manager/bartender/server to add our staff. This position could also be an AGM of GM in training.
Requirements
- Wine knowledge, marketing and event experience not necessary but major plus!
- Must be competitive with an attention to detail.
- Willingness to be cross-trained on the entire front of the house
- Ability to work in an environment with multiple focus areas that include: restaurant, bar, events and catering

Responsibilities Deliver high caliber service, being engaged daily and engaging guests Continuously keep and exceed restaurant standards
- Work in a clean, organized fashion following health codes and restaurant guidelines
- Follow all restaurant dress code and hygiene standards
- Show up ready to work on-time
Qualifications: 4 plus years of experience as a server or bar tender. Management experience preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
