Tennis Express is ready to hire a full time Cashier / Sales Specialist. You will be responsible for greeting and offering assistance to customers as needed. We’re looking for team members that can provide excellent customer service, and represent our brand to the fullest. A tennis enthusiast or player is a plus.
Applicants must have:
- Effective Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Knowledge on Shoes, Willingness to Learn Fit and Wear
- Basic Math and Reading Skills, Attention to Detail, and legible handwriting
- Willingness to work weekends and be a contributing member of a Team
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- WOW Customer Service – Smiles and verbally greets customers and other associates
- Responds with a “Yes We Can” attitude to customer questions and requests
- Sets the standard for WOW Customer Service within the department
- Solicits positive customer reviews on social media after a positive interaction
- Presents merchandise positively: Replenishes stock, maintains organization of apparel and cleans store
- Assists with floor recovery and sales floor returns
- Maintains fitting rooms and apparel work area
- Effectively communicates with Team Leaders using verbal and email communication
- Assists with price changes and ensures that merchandise reflect current price
- Attends a weekly meeting to receive up to date information about store policy
