Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Arcade Game Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our entertainment equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of arcade gaming machines and electronic entertainment systems. Your expertise will keep our games running smoothly, providing guests with an exciting and uninterrupted gaming experience. Duties
- Perform electrical diagnostics on arcade machines to identify faults and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Conduct field service visits to repair, maintain, and upgrade gaming equipment across multiple locations.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment such as soldering irons, ohmmeters, and schematics to repair electrical components and wiring.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics to accurately locate faults within AC/DC electrical systems.
- Repair and replace defective computer hardware, circuit boards, monitors, coin mechanisms, and other electronic parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on gaming machines to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Test electrical systems involving low voltage wiring, mechanical components, and computer networking to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience with electronic or amusement equipment is required.
- Strong electrical diagnostics skills with a focus on AC/DC electrical systems and schematic reading.
- Hands-on experience with electrical soldering, circuit troubleshooting, and equipment repair is essential.
- Familiarity with computer hardware installation, maintenance, and networking within arcade or similar environments.
- Mechanical knowledge related to gaming machines or similar machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and engineering troubleshooting guides effectively.
- Previous experience working with low voltage systems, using testing tools such as ohmmeters, is preferred.
