Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care in a compassionate manner, ensuring excellent patient experiences.
Duties:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures
- Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State licensure to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in aseptic technique, infection control, and vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding
- Familiarity with dental office systems such as Epic
- Understanding of anatomy, especially in relation to oral health
- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus
