Job Overview
We are seeking a organized and analytical Service Manager to lead our Solar Service Team . The Service Manager is responsible for the technical and managerial coordination of Permitting and Inspections, Solar O&M contracts, Warranties, Safety Training, OEM Installer Certifications and Training, all service and service-related activities
Responsibilities
· Follow and enforce use of prescribed PPE. Practice safe lifting, climbing, and other safety techniques per OSHA requirements.
· Follow and enforce Solar Impact Policies and Procedures.
· Manage all Service-designated activities including pricing, scheduling, customer communication, interdepartmental communication (job set up, billing, etc.), equipment warranty management, and execution of service proposals.
· Manage Safe Work training and procedures for OSHA and MSHA compliance.
· Present or engage all company solar training. This includes setting up SolarEdge, SMA, EG4, Tesla, and Franklin training for all Service Technicians to advance them to Certified SMA, SolarEdge and Tesla Technician status.
· Manage corrective, predictive and warranty maintenance.
· Establish and enforce solar electrical system installation standards with regular reportable audits and corrective action.
· Thoroughly document and institutionalize the service processes to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
· Establish and maintain an EOS accountability structure including weekly L10 meetings that incorporate pivotal performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
· Keep track of goals and tasks using Daylite and other appropriate tools
· Actively participate in ongoing professional development, including written materials, webinars, company meetings, etc.
Qualifications
Required:
· Associate’s Degree or other equivalent training
· Strong construction management background
· Understanding of solar energy systems and roofing
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, reliable, analytical
· Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
· Perform well under stress in fast-paced environment
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Must be able to report to work in person and on time as scheduled, and work nights and weekends as needed
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other similar software
· Strong planning and coordination skills
Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Journeyman or Master Electrician License
· Proficiency in Apple products and iOS
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance
· Capable of safely climbing ladders

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
