Job Summary
Wire-Bond is looking for a skilled and reliable Tool and Die Maker to join our team in Memphis.
You will build, maintain, and repair stamping dies and support our production needs.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and repair metal stamping dies.
- Operate toolroom machinery including surface grinders, end mills, and lathes.
- Measure parts accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision gauges.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate clearly with management and fellow team members.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience making and repairing stamping dies.
- Technical Skills: Confident operating lathes, mills, grinders, and precision measuring tools.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and ready to start the shift at 5:00 AM.
- Compliance: Strong commitment to safety and following all company rules.
- Communication: Ability to read instructions and speak effectively with coworkers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
