Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage tables effectively through excellent time management, ensuring prompt service during busy hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to health regulations.
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or high-volume food service environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems .
- Demonstrated ability in upselling, sales techniques, and guest services enhances success in this role.
- Strong skills in food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling are essential for maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior host/hostess or serving experience in nightclub or hospitality settings will be considered valuable assets.
