Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to carry out tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing.
Interpret construction plans and blueprints to execute specific tasks like rebar installation, formwork construction, and metal stud framing accurately.
Perform concrete-related activities including pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and applying stucco or plaster for aesthetic or structural purposes.
Support carpentry tasks such as framing, flooring installation, and renovation work while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for all team members.
Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow across various phases of the project.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment confidently.
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete finishing techniques, and concrete pumping processes.
Familiarity with construction estimating principles to assist in project planning and material needs.
Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Proficiency in rebar installation, formwork construction, metal stud framing, and flooring installation.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance for demanding work environments.
