Stroble Company LLC manages an indoor playground in Flushing, MI. We specialize in parties for small children and our goal is to ensure families have a worry-free party.
```Duties```
Main duties for open play, events and parties
- Check-in customers and complete customer service tasks, as needed
- Prepare, cook and serve food, as needed
- Complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure proper sanitization of the facility
- Plan, create and set up decorations, as needed
- Prepare age appropriate activities for children and carry out tasks related to such activities
- Serve as the main source of communication for hosts and guests
- Properly direct/lead all staff assistants to ensure time is not wasted and that all tasks are completed timely and will superb execution.
- Send correspondence/communication to guests to confirm any details necessary for their event/party
- Have the ability to explain the details of all products for the purpose of maintaining a sell or up-selling a guests, as needed.
- Assist management with additional tasks as needed
```Experience```
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Experience in cash handling is required
- Knowledge of food service regulations, preparation, and cooking is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to sing, dance and/or create games/activities interact with child guests is a huge plus
- ServSafe food manager certification is required for this position within 3 months
- Lead/management experience is a plus

- What experience do you have planning events?
- What experience do you have with party design (balloons, set up, etc) and paying attention to details?
- Open play shifts are M-F from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Late open play is around 2 times a week and is normally between 4 pm and 7 pm. Standard parties are two hours long and could happen between 9 am and 9 pm (Sun-Sat). Please explain your availability and if you have reliable transportation.
- This position will require you to cook and to have a Serv Safe food certification within 60 days of hire. What experience do you have with cooking tasks?
