Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals following standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Chop, slice, and dice ingredients for use in recipes
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Assist with food plating and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dietary department, kitchen, or catering environment preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food service industry standards
- Familiarity with food preparation and cooking methods
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:
- Proficient in food handling and safety practices
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff
We are a meal prep/ healthy food restaurant that does dine-in, takeout, catering, delivery, and meal prep. Were looking for individuals who are highly motivated to participate in an up and coming industry to prepare meals and cook healthy and delicious food.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
