Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, POS systems, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Take and serve drink and food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcohol, adhering to all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as necessary to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Uphold all food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously in busy environments like nightclubs or fine dining settings.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing tabs accurately.
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant experience, or hospitality roles preferred; experience in nightclubs or banquet settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of beverage brewing or cocktail preparation is advantageous.
