Duties
- Safely operate charter buses in accordance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Transport passengers to designated destinations with punctuality and professionalism
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the bus to ensure mechanical safety and readiness
- Communicate clearly with passengers using effective communication skills; address questions or concerns politely and efficiently
- Manage behavior and maintain order among passengers, especially children or vulnerable populations, utilizing behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, safety checks, and incident reports as required
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring passenger comfort throughout the journey
Experience
- Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with school bus driving or charter bus service
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures applicable to commercial vehicles and passenger transport
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse communities
- Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
