We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Jewelry Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their jewelry needs. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, ensuring that customers feel valued and informed about our products.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting jewelry that meets their preferences and needs.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring that displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Supervise stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure product availability.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about jewelry care, styles, and trends to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while fostering a positive work environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a jewelry or luxury goods environment.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is essential for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience in supervising staff or mentoring new associates is a plus.
