Jackson-Bibby Awareness Group is a licensed DUI education program serving court-ordered and DMV-ordered clients across the Inland Empire. We're looking for a part-time counselor to facilitate weekly recurring groups at our Barstow location, with the potential to pick up an additional group in Victorville.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly interaction groups and education sessions per program curriculum, beginning and ending on time
- Conduct face-to-face interviews as required by program standards and Title 9
- Encourage participants to identify and address alcohol/drug-related attitudes and behaviors
- Monitor sobriety during group and individual sessions
- Accurately assess and track participant fees and attendance
- Document all program activities, status changes, violations, and correspondence in compliance with San Bernardino County standards
Requirements
- Certified or licensed DUI program counselor (CADC or equivalent)
- Registered counselors working toward certification considered
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience
