American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR experience, robotics experience, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting

Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM

On-call responsibilities required

13-week contract

Active FL RN license or valid Compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent OR Circulator experience required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross)

Robotics experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities include ensuring supply readiness, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with patient families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting surgeons during cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care

Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members

Applies critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in perioperative patient care, in accordance with AORN standards and State Nurse Practice Act

All certifications must remain active through at least 30 days beyond the contract start date

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
