The mission of Grace Athletics is to use the athletic platform to influence the world for Christ. To help us accomplish this mission, GCS is seeking outstanding, experienced Middle and High School Coaches who are eager to integrate biblical truth into athletic competition, training, and team culture. These positions require a collaborative spirit, strong knowledge of sport-specific skills and strategy, and a commitment to Grace Community School’s mission and core values. The ideal candidates view coaching as both a calling and a craft, delighting in developing student-athletes who pursue excellence with humility, discipline, and Christlike character.
Currently, coaching opportunities are available in basketball, softball, track, and football. Full-time positions must be in conjunction with other teaching responsibilities.
Middle and High School Coaches partner with Grace families to cultivate student-athletes who compete with integrity, grow in perseverance, and reflect Christ in victory and defeat. This role exists to develop athletic skill alongside spiritual maturity, teamwork, leadership, and resilience, equipping students to glorify God through competition and represent Grace Community School with honor.
- Demonstrate a biblical philosophy of athletics by integrating faith, character formation, and servant leadership into practices and competition.

Establish and maintain a disciplined, encouraging environment that promotes effort, growth, and excellence.
- Demonstrate mastery of sport-specific skills, rules, and strategy appropriate to middle and high school athletes.

Plan and lead organized practices that emphasize skill development, conditioning, teamwork, and game preparation.

Provide constructive feedback that challenges and encourages student-athletes toward growth.

Promote physical safety by following appropriate training guidelines and supervising athletes responsibly.

Support the development of the overall athletic program in alignment with Grace Community School’s mission and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with athletic leadership, fellow coaches, faculty, and administration.

Participate in professional development and pursue continued growth in coaching excellence.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous experience coaching middle and/or high school athletes.

Strong knowledge of sport-specific skills and athletic development.
