Local Pay: Up to $75/ hour on W2
Travel pay: Up to $3260/ Weekly
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU to join a leading healthcare facility in Salinas, CA. The RN will provide comprehensive post-anesthesia patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings in Epic.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
- Delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately while supervising patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
- Promote patient safety and infection control standards.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
- Serve as a preceptor or charge nurse when assigned.
- Float to other nursing units as needed based on staffing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 6–12 months of recent Epic EMR experience.
- Recent clinical nursing experience in PACU or other acute care specialty.
