Responsibilities
- Assist stylists with client preparation, including shampooing, conditioning, and setting up tools for various hair treatments.
- Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning stations, tools, and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients professionally, communicating service options clearly, and upselling retail products like hair care items or styling tools.
- Collaborate with team members through mentoring opportunities and contribute to a positive salon atmosphere focused on client satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a cosmetology setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of hair care techniques including shampooing, hair coloring, and styling
- Basic understanding of sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment according to industry standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective client communication and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in retail sales or upselling products is advantageous to enhance client experiences and salon revenue.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
