Position Overview
· Active, hands-on security position in bars, nightlife venues, comedy shows, concerts, and special events throughout Greenville and Spartanburg
· Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
· Continuously monitor crowds, guest behavior, and venue activity to identify potential issues before they escalate
· Utilize strong communication skills and professional verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts
· Maintain a visible presence and exercise strong situational awareness in fast-paced environments
· Respond promptly and professionally to guest’s needs or concerns, incidents, disruptions and emergencies
· Remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
· Be prepared for the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, walking, and hands-on intervention if/when necessary
· Assist with the safe removal or escort of disruptive, intoxicated, or non-compliant patrons in accordance with venue policies
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor points of ingress/egress and designated venue areas
- Verify identification and manage guest access
- Maintain a safe environment for guests, performers, and staff
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security standards
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
