ABM Industries Inc. is looking for a Parking Attendant to assist in the city of Minneapolis Parking Ramp system during events and and busier times downtown. The successful candidate will need to be customer focused and flexible for scheduling.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Observe and report condition of and appearance of assigned parking facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work assignment
- Greet visitors and direct traffic to the correct location
- Assist visitors with parking access and payment options as needed
- Check in and out vehicles as needed
- Assist with maintenance of facility grounds as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned by manager
Required Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- This position has a flexible schedule that is event driven.
- Customer service is a main focus for this position and candidates must be willing and able to communicate in English with customers
- Must be able to work standing for 4 - 8 hours per shift including days, evenings weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others using the English language.
- Perform tasks in a professional manner at all times
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
