We are looking for a Cutting Associate to join our growing organization and help fabricate quality glass products for our customers.
Job Overview
As a Cutting Associate, you will play a vital role in fabricating quality glass and materials for our customers. Your reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic directly support our commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Cutting and Movetro Systems.
- Manage optimization and cutting software.
- Follow production and quality standards.
- Report and document production issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks.
- Safely handle and break out glass.
- Identify and label glass accurately.
- Organize and transport materials.
- Maintain production quality.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks.
- Operate machinery and equipment on the assembly line to fabricate products according to specifications.
- Inspect finished products using tools such as measuring tape to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet production targets.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in glass cutting, assembly line operations, or a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift minimum 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Mechanical knowledge of troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor adjustments.
- Familiarity with press operations and tooling concepts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting, including packaging responsibilities.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must pass a background check
Schedule & Pay
Monday – Friday, 12 PM – 8:30 PM
Overtime as needed
Starting pay: $17/hour
Major holidays off
