Expeditor (Expo) – Alley Twenty Six
Full-Time | Durham, NC
Alley Twenty Six is looking for an experienced Expo to join our team.
This is a key position in the restaurant. You'll be responsible for keeping communication clear between the kitchen and front of house, managing the flow of tickets, and making sure food leaves the window correctly and on time.
We're looking for someone who is organized, pays attention to details, and can stay focused when the restaurant gets busy. Experience in a quality-driven restaurant is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage ticket flow during service
- Check plates for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen
- Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, bartenders, runners, and managers
- Track allergies, modifications, and special requests
- Help maintain pacing throughout service
- Support the floor with food running when needed
- Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and organized
Requirements
- Restaurant experience required
- Previous expo experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
