Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and faith-filled Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. St. Margaret Mary is a large and growing parish school. This teacher will work in collaboration with another Spanish Teacher, the Special Area Team, and a variety of classroom teachers to meet students' needs. The teacher will travel to a variety of classrooms at levels from PreK-5 to deliver lessons.
Duties
- Design and implement Spanish language lessons tailored to various learning styles and student needs
- Utilize educational technology tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
- Manage classroom environments through effective classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Assess student performance data regularly to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and adapt instruction accordingly
- Support students’ social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and inclusive teaching practices
- Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and foster a supportive learning community
Qualifications
- Proven experience in classroom teaching of Spanish
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment methods
- Experience working with children at multiple age and ability levels
- Skills in positive classroom management and behavior management
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Preferred candidates will be certified for working toward teacher certification.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
