We are seeking a dependable Clubhouse Janitorial to maintain cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment in our clubhouse and common amenity spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in attention to detail, follows cleaning protocols, and interacts courteously with residents and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize clubhouse common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, kitchens, fitness rooms, meeting rooms, and offices.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty trash/recycling and replace liners; dispose of waste per community procedures.
- Clean and restock restrooms (soap, paper products, sanitary supplies).
- Maintain and clean HOA common outdoor areas as assigned, including pool area, exterior building entries, walkways, and landscaped common spaces — tasks include de-webbing exterior condo buildings, blowing leaves around pool and patio areas, wiping down pool tables and outdoor furniture, emptying outdoor trash receptacles, and refilling paper/soap supplies in outdoor restrooms.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
- Set up and tear down furniture for events as requested; assist with event cleaning.
- Follow cleaning schedules, safe chemical handling, and infection-control procedures.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; request replenishments as needed.
- Adhere to community access and security protocols and be respectful of residents’ privacy.
Physical demands & working conditions
- Work regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) while performing outdoor/common-area duties.
- Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting up to 25–50 lbs) and work on feet for extended periods.
- Work hours are usually early start time & end of day is usually mid day; Mondays- Fridays only. No weekends or holidays (unless cleaning requested). Hours usually are ex: 7am-1pm. Part Time 15-20 Hours weekly.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting up to [25–50] lbs) and work on feet for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment; ability to follow label instructions and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and customer-service skills; professional demeanor around residents.
- Ability to pass background check and, if applicable, provide references.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
Compensation & benefits
- Pay: $16-$18/Hr (PART TIME 15-20 HOURS WEEKLY)
