About us:
Established in 2020, Hallstead Family Pharmacy is a small, family owned, business in Northeast, PA. We opened our second location, Susquehanna Family Pharmacy, in 2025. We are looking for a part and/or full time pharmacist to join our team. Candidate must be willing to work at either location (Hallstead/Susquehanna 9am-6pm) and candidate will be required to work one weekend (Saturday 9am-1pm) per month. The candidate will be responsible for verifying accuracy of prescriptions, providing patient counseling, and maintaining records in accordance with state and federal regulations. Duties and responsibilities:
-Fill prescriptions/dispense medication
-Counsel patients regarding the nature and use of drugs
-Maintain all necessary records on prescriptions, patients and inventory
-Prepare and/or oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients
-Counsel patients and/or medical practitioners on drug indications, dosage, drug interactions and side effects
-Provide guidance to pharmacy support staff and monitor performance
-Follow established policies and procedures and safety, environmental and/or infection control standards
-Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education and experience:
-BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D
-Pennsylvania State licensed pharmacist
-Preferred 1 – 2 years of work experience in retail pharmacy (new grads welcome to apply)
-Must have immunization privilege in Pennsylvania
