Dispatcher and Safety Coordinator
Who we are:
We are a regional dry van trucking company that operates a fleet of 10-20 Units. Our trucks within a 1000 mile radius pick up and drop offs. We operate 24/7 365 days a year. Our customers, CDL A drivers depend on us for round the clock support.
What is the role:
Dispatcher and Safety Coordinator. What does this mean?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our senior dispatch with managing drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, while maintaining DOT guidelines. Must be able to conduct safety audits with drivers one on one.
What are YOUR responsiblities:
- Monitor CDL A Drivers from pick up to drop off
- Help manage a team of CDL A Drivers
- Monitor driver logs and preformance
- Process POD's and BOL's
- Ensure compliance transportation regulations and company policies
- Utilize fleet management systems.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams
- Conducting one on one safety meetings, driver orientation etc.
Qualifications and other requirements to be met:
- You must be available to work a weekend schedule and get two days off during the weekday.
- You must have knowledge of computers, programs, email, TMS software
- The ability to be serious, managing drivers over the road is a serious task.
- Attendance in office is a must.
- The ability to learn, communicate and conduct one on one meetings with CDL A drivers.
- Criminal background will be conducted, and a pre-employment drug screening as we are bonded facility.
- Reliable transportation to and from work and live within the DFW metroplex.

Compensation includes salary $45K-$50K plus annual bonuses, medical benefits, vacation time and free monthly lunches, snacks and coffee. Our office is located in DFW Airport North.
