Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Assistant Property & Leasing Manager to support the Property Manager in the daily operations of the community. This position helps ensure the property operates efficiently by providing excellent customer service, assisting with leasing and resident relations, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative and financial functions.
Duties
- Assist the Property Manager with the daily management and operations of the community
- Oversee leasing activities, including property showings, tenant screening, lease negotiations, and contract execution
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to maintain accurate data entry, rent collections, and financial reporting
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
- Help monitor occupancy, renewals, and leasing performance
- Handle conflict management between tenants or vendors professionally and efficiently
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor property conditions and oversee repairs or upgrades as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous property management, leasing, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with property management systems such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and vendors
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks
- Ability to manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact while maintaining positive resolutions
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices, facilities management, and health & safety standards
