Project Home is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and detail-oriented Project Home Trust Coordinator to join our team.
The Project Home Trust program is designed to strengthen long-term economic stability for single-parent households by combining direct financial assistance with individualized support, community connections, and access to resources. The Project Home Trust Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring participants successfully access program benefits, connect with community services, and build the knowledge, skills, and relationships needed to achieve greater financial and family stability.
The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with individuals and families, strong organizational and communication skills, and a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to participant support. This role requires the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while building trusted relationships with participants, community partners, and other Project Home staff. The candidate will also develop a strong understanding of Project Home's programming and community resources to effectively coordinate services, facilitate participant engagement, and contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time, in-person position with a salary of $55,000, a top-tier health insurance plan, 48 days of Paid Time Off Per year (30 days PTO & 18 paid holidays), and a Maine Retirement Investment Trust Roth IRA program. Applications must be submitted by August 17th, 2026.
Project Home Trust Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Conduct participant intake, assessments, and ongoing follow-up to identify needs, establish goals, and provide individualized support throughout program participation.
- Connect participants with community resources, including housing, food assistance, employment, education, healthcare, childcare, and other supportive services.
- Coordinate all aspects of the program's direct cash assistance process, including application review, eligibility verification, documentation collection, payment tracking, and maintenance of accurate program records.
- Plan and facilitate monthly participant meetings, peer support sessions, and community-building events that promote engagement and connection.
- Assist participant families in accessing childcare, after-school programming, enrichment opportunities, and summer programs.
- Collaborate with Project Home staff to support participant outreach through newsletters, social media, and other communications.
- Maintain participant records, program databases, and outcome tracking systems while ensuring confidentiality, data accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
- Assist with participant surveys, program evaluations, data collection, reporting, and documentation of program outcomes.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, service providers, volunteers, and other partners to strengthen participant access to resources.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain project trackers, and provide administrative support to ensure efficient program operations.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience working in a client-facing role within social services, community-based organizations, or similar programs preferred.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices, participant engagement, and community resource navigation with emphasis on confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to support communications, outreach, and language access efforts as needed.
- Multilingual candidates preferred.
- A driver's license and reliable transportation required.
