Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and math calculations.
- Upsell menu items and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Prepare simple food items when needed, operating kitchen equipment safely and following food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and service stations to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
- Manage food service customer order flow, ensuring timely delivery of orders to guests.
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with strong food handling skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards in food industry settings.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with light food preparation when necessary.
