CordeValle is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook 1 to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes and contributing to an exceptional dining experience across our restaurant outlets and banquet operations.

The Cook 1 is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes and standards, supporting both restaurant outlets and banquet functions, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to specification and quality standards
- Assist with production for restaurant service and banquet events
- Follow standardized recipes and accurately execute orders from kitchen tickets
- Support prep work, station setup, and breakdown
- Ensure consistency, presentation, and proper portion control
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with culinary team to execute high-volume and specialty events
- 2+ years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Experience in both a la carte and banquet production is a plus
- Valid Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes, kitchen tickets and BEO's
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
