TRU Tax Accounting Solutions is NOW HIRING motivated individuals to join our team as Virtual Tax Preparers for the 2026 Tax Season.
This is a primarily virtual/remote position, with opportunities for local candidates to work in person.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
You do not need previous tax preparation experience. We are looking for individuals who are:
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Professional and dependable
- Comfortable communicating with clients
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to work independently
- Interested in learning a valuable, income-producing skill
WHAT YOU NEED:
✓ Reliable laptop or computer
✓ Reliable Wi-Fi/internet access
✓ Ability to complete required tax training
✓ Ability to obtain or renew a valid PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
✓ Willingness to learn tax preparation procedures and IRS requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Tax Preparer, you will assist clients with preparing and filing individual income tax returns, reviewing tax documents, entering information into tax software, communicating with clients, and maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Never prepared a tax return before? We can train you!
